Work is no longer a place we go, but an activity we perform. In the modern workplace, people, data, and apps are everywhere.
So why are we still securing locations?
This is where we need to start having better conversations around SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) — not just as a technology shift, but as a mindset shift towards identity-first, zero trust security.
Because here’s the real issue:
📅 Organisations are investing in tools
📅 But not enough in conversations that make those tools work
Cybersecurity needs to move out of silos and into everyday, shared understanding. Especially when human behaviour continues to be the biggest variable in how security actually works in practice.
Had a great time unpacking this with Denis and Win — simplifying complex cybersecurity concepts (it can be done!), using metaphors, and just having an honest (and fun!) conversation. Only thing missing… caffeine ☕
Thanks Arun and Pauline at Influence for kickstarting these conversations, and making them accessible and engaging, along with Jonathan.
