What brings you joy at work?
Something literally life-changing that I have learnt from working with Monique Blokzyl and her HeartPoweredBusiness is the beauty and significance of working with joy and ease.
This is something I have been working on the past 2 years. I say “working on”, because it takes time and effort to unlearn old ways of doing and thinking, and shed old fears and limiting beliefs.
Back to the original questions: What brings me joy is engaging meaningfully with others, building relationships, and encouraging others (not just the most vocal person in the room) to voice their thoughts and opinions.
At work, this extends to speaking to and learning from others, while spreading cyber awareness. There is always so much to learn when communicating with others, whether younger or older, if you listen carefully and with an open mind and heart.
One of the most enjoyable experiences at work has been talking to inspirational women in cyber. The joy and ease in those engagements makes every bit of effort worthwhile!
