A decade on from my PhD graduation, I finally had a heartwarming reunion with many Communications and New Media (CNM)–National University of Singapore (NUS) colleagues at Prof Sun Sun Lim’s book launch. The book shines a light on the ethical conundrums, growing pains, and promises of technology in this hyper-digital age.
What a treat to see my CNM colleagues again! We weathered many storms together (special shoutout to my fellow Research Scholars and parents!) and it always feels like home with the CNM family.
And finally, a small throwback pic to my graduation, with my older one, who was 8, and my younger one (3) was far too naughty to bring along 😄. Time truly flies — beautiful memories. 💓
A gentle reminder that every stage has its own joys, trials, and lessons… and the present moment is precious, savour it, as it never comes back.
