Dr. Anuradha (Anu) Rao
Founder, CyberCognizanzDr. Anuradha (Anu) Rao is a Singapore-based cybersecurity and cyber safety awareness speaker, trainer, facilitator, and educator. She is on a mission to keep more individuals, families, and organisations safer and secure online. Her work combines cybersecurity and the social sciences, with a focus on cybercrime and online harms prevention, cyber hygiene, and data protection.
Dr. Rao has a PhD in Communications and New Media from the National University of Singapore (NUS). She has more than 15 years of experience teaching in higher education institutions in Singapore. Currently, she is also Associate Faculty at the PublicSafety and Security Programme of the Singapore University ofSocial Sciences (SUSS).

Dr. Rao has emerged as a leading cybersecurity advocate in Singapore, driving greater cyber awareness among the general public and organisations. She works with a diverse range of clients and partners to spread this message around the world. As a Global DEI Advisory Council member for ISC2, the world’s leading member association for cybersecurity professionals, she champions a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive cybersecurity profession, focusing on women in cyber.
